“We had a corner room that overlooked the town center traffic circle, which was more scenic than it sounds actually, and across from the town hall with its historic bells. The family that owns and runs the hotel are very kind and helpful, and they all contribute and are very hard working. I highly recommend at least one dinner here. The food is the best we had in Saarburg, inventive, fresh, seasonal, and beautifully presented. Good wine options and well priced, with excellent service. They have updated this historic building in a tasteful, modern, and yet 'true to its roots' way. It's walking distance to everything, and they will happily provide you a map that winds you through the town, up the hill on a ski lift to finish with a return trip through the vineyards.”

“Saarburg is a great small German town. It has a small town feel with local shops and family run hotels. Everything was within walking distance. We went there looking for a WW II Peace Memorial in the location of my Dad's service and the Saarburg Information Center helped us find it outside of Borg. If you have a car, visit some of the surrounding towns. Lovely!”

The room was spotless, staff very friendly and helpful and the owners couldn't do enough for you.Little touches like complimentary water, fruit and chocolates in your room and a bottle of wine on leaving, help with car parking and taking luggage to your room made our stay one to remember. The food was superb with plenty of choice prepared by the owner himself.Central location 1 minute from the town centre.”
