“Monte Xisto is all you could wish and need for some proper resting days. The setting is stunning and you can tell everything was really well thought of. Room was big, bed was extremely confortable and the pool facilities were good. Breakfast has a reasonable choice and everything is really fresh. Staff friendliness is faultless, you really feel at home! Access is reasonable, considering you are away from the all the major cities, you're still around 20 minutes driving to the beach and nearby small villages where you can find plenty choice of fish/seafood/meat restaurants. ”

“A really nice hotel about 20 kilometeres from the coast; temperature higher than on the coast. Kind staff. Good hiking trails in the neighborhood and by the coast. Very nice tasting menu at the hotel with regional dishes. The rooms were well equipped with good beds.”

“A lovely hotel in a very remote area, not easy to find! However if you are looking for quiet relaxation this is ideal. The rooms are set in blocks of 5 and are well appointed, spacious with great bathroom/ shower facilities. The breakfasts were superb, plenty of fresh fruits and choices including freshly made scrambled egg and bacon. We tried their special 7 course evening taster meal which was great other than that it was too much and we couldn't manage all of the main course. Be warned!! Take it nice and slow.... Great outdoor facilities with pool and fitness area. The owners have taken a lot of trouble in making this a charming place. We highly recommend it.”
