What guests loved the most
“We were offered a glass of water before check in formalities. Then changed to go down to the pool, where we had drinks. Dinner was excellent both nights, as was the amazing picnic they put together on request. They had a good selection of leaflets for local walks, 2km to 12km. We think the distances quoted are one way not round trip. Take water! The owners don't speak English but could not have been more helpful in maximising our Spanish and "sign language". Language was not a barrier. On arrival (at the bus stop), there was a handy shared lift up the hill waiting for a small amount. On leaving, the owner organised a prompt taxi to where we were going next. Hotel maravedi is a rural hotel in the hamlet/extension of capilerilla, adjoining pitres. You may see both names (Not capileira)”
“Need your own car to get there; if you arrive to the town by bus, they leave you at the bottom of the hill and you have to walk up 2km. with your suitcases! The hotel does not provide transportation.”
