“Amazing value for money. Character Spainish property with a lovely host. Quality Spainish breakfast, smart Tv , courtyard room which was nice for our dogs to stretch their legs. The bar was a nice touch with the log fire. Great stopping place from Southern Spain to the ports or traveling north to France.”
“Quirky hotel with excellent owner - very welcoming and breakfast very good. Fresh layed eggs from the owners finca.”
“Beautiful surroundings, lovely court yard. Very helpful and friendly staff.”
“Lovely. Host super breakfast lovely old building great little town”
“Excellent conversion of an old house. Full of character AND really comfortable.”
“This is a beautiful, sypathetically restored hotel. The bedroom wall was about 1.5 m thick and there were multiple shutters at the window so this hotel should be great all year round. Our room was well proportioned and comfortably furnished. The attention to detail is amazing considering the price as far customer comfort is concerned. Breakfast at 5 euro was of equal quality using local ingredients. We only stayed for one night on our way from the south but will consider two next time as Lerma is a lovely old town. We have been recommending the hotel to friends and family. The Spanish owner did not appear to speak any English but is well used to other European visitors. Our Spanish is minimal as we mostly travel in France but he did say that many English folk stay over on a regular basis when travelling back and forth to the ferries. We managed a sort of conversation as he is so friendly. He is very proud of his hotel, too.”
“The wonderful owner, Jose, could not have done more for us or been more welcoming ... 2 adults, 2 kids, a dog and a cat. He was a wonderful host and made us a fantastic breakfast, with the tastiest fried eggs, with cheese, ham, bread and fruit. And even though we were on a very short visit en route to Bilbao from Malaga, we found Lerma to be an extremely pretty little town.”
“Traditional breakfast of the region. A hotel with a lot of character.”
“The care the owner gives to his guests and the way this little hotel makes you feel at home. I stayed there with my three sons. Our room was a small duplex and all of us liked the room and slept perfectly.”
“It's a charming family run hotel in a transformed 300 year old house. A lot of character and a delicious breakfast.”
