“Great location. Responsible staff.comfortable beds.”
“The location was great and the hotel was so clean.”
“Location, breakfast, friendly staff, parking service”
“The staff was very, very attentive and polite. The Hotel is old- but extremely well maintained, the bathroom impeccable, doors etc new and they put a lot of effort in keeping up a high standard. I prefer that so much more than some of those new hotels that are cheaply furnished just to look stylish. It seems that the windows are sound proofed. I was super-happy with the breakfast, a huge choice and very high quality of the food, only an idiot can complain here. I tried the Italian restaurant on the ground floor, the food was OK but not mind-blowing. The location of the hotel is the best! Right in the Center, close to the subway- 7 minutes to the huge Austria Conference Center if you're there on business, 1 second from Stephansdom if you are tourist.”
“very good computer access excellent breakfast perfect location”
“The location was great- a very central location right by the Stephansdom. We stayed for 5 nights and the first two nights were miserable because they had us in a room with a residual smoke smell coming from the carpet and walls it really caused my smoke allergy to kick in with a tightness in my throat and a headache. After the second night I talked to a person at the desk about it and he offered us a room without carpeting on a different floor. It made a huge difference because the room smelled nice and fresh. The rest of our stay was great without any more allergies.”
“A friend and I happened to be in Austria at the same time, and decidedto meet up in Vienna for the weekend, and to be honest, I was just goingafter something relatively cheap, close to the Innere Stadt, and withparking close by.The hotel doesn't have its own parking, but is close (a five minute walk) to a couple of the multi-storey car parks in the center. They weren't great, and weren't cheap - but did the job. If you're going by car, be aware that the BOE Garage Parkhaus has a high limit of 1.4m which prevented us using that one. We opted instead for the BOE Garage Cobdengasse which worked fine for the Discovery Sport I was driving. For the price I wasn't expecting a lot, but instead found a hotel with really good sized rooms, and very friendly staff. The decor was a little tired, and the bed linen wasn't the most comfortable - but for a short stay, I couldn't have asked for more.”
“The location was perfect, especially in the middle of a heatwave! Right in the centre of the pedestrian shopping and restaurant streets and just around the corner from St Stephens Cathedral and the underground station. Our room wasn’t large but it was clean, very quiet and the blackout blinds and the air-conditioning were excellent. Wifi worked well throughout the hotel. Breakfast buffet was adequate although it was very busy and often various items were missing. Pleasant to sit with the windows open to the street.”
“the location was perfect. within easy walking distance of all the main attractions. nice large rooms with air conditioning. a nice selection of foods at the breakfast buffet.”
“Stayed in this hotel for the last 5 night. All was great, and surely nothing to complain about. Location couldn't be any better, its just where Grabenstrasse and Kärntner strasse meet, two of the main Vienna streets. Our room was spotlessly clean, just as all the hotel. Some people were writing about the room furnishing, and saying its outdated. Well, i look at it in a different way, its the hotel characteristic, just as it appears on the photos, so surely whoever booked this hotel knew what the furniture looked like. All staff from the front office, the porter, the chambermaids, the restaurant staff, etc were very friendly and although in a professional way, they were always with an honest smile on their faces. Breakfast was also great, and well organised. Surely worth staying there, and if visiting Vienna once again thats where i'll stay.”
