“This was more a Motel bilding, but Very nice, the people staying there were more the people you want to have a beer with. Central placement in Noordwijk (15 minutes to the beach - if it's not stormy).”
“It's a very cosy, probably family run, hotel in the binnen part of Noordwijk. The room I was supposed to get had a little patio with outdoor furniture to sit on and I could see there was more outdoor areas for guests to relax. The room I have finally gotten (see the "what I didn't like" part) was equally fine. It's big enough, all the things are there. Breakfast was fine, if you expect the typical sweet stuff (loads of pastry) that are normal in the Netherlands you might not be too thrilled. There was some of those sugar bombs, but not as I have seen in other hotels. This was ABSOLUTELY fine for me :) Big plus on the provided pan where one could make their own omlett! Wifi worked superbly! I did not try out the bar and restaurant in the hotel. There are some pubs and such around, I usually walked to the beach to meet up for dinner (20 min walk).”
“This is our fourth stay at the Royal since 1993. We prefer staying in the serene old town to the beach's noisy hustle. We really enjoyed having our tea outside in front of the hotel and an afternoon beer on the roof lanai. Every morning we looked forward to the Royal's excellent traditional Dutch breakfast.”
