“Room was comfortable and well-cleaned with a good, if small, bathroom. The staff were always very friendly and the dinner was always great and reasonably priced for what you get, there was a good variety of food and occasionally even some live music. The hotel was a little hard to find on the first day since the way to it isn't really a footpath but it's otherwise well-located and only a short walk away from either the main village or the train station, dependent on where you want to go. It also goes without saying that there are plenty of places to go hiking nearby, and they have hiking maps at reception as well. The surrounding area is beautiful, there'll be no shortage of great views if you're willing to walk a little, or even just look out of your window.”

“This is a beautifully appointed hotel with a lovely view of the Dolomites. Our room was extremely comforable and spacious with a superb shower room. Alexander was very helpful and made us feel welcome. Breakfast was excellent and Toblach / Dobbiaco a few minutes walk with a very good good restaurant Winklekeller!”
“The location of the hotel was good as a starting point for treks in the area (close to 3 national parks and on a main road). The wood and rock style of decor was lovely, we had a small balcony with mountain (and main road) view, the shower was big, and the IR sauna (which can be ordered via their web) was very nice and relaxing. The staff were quite nice, breakfast was good, and the towels' arrangement was adorable!”
