“This is a wonderful hotel in a great location. The staff were friendly and attentive to all our needs and the garden bar/restaurant is a beautiful haven in the heart of Madrid. This hotel has a quiet elegance and grace that is unusual in this day and age, and I hope they do not lose this in their upcoming restoration/remodeling by their new owners. Yes, it is not cheap, as I have read in some peoples comments, but this sort of accommodation will never be cheap. If you want cheap accommodation go to a cheap hotel!”
