“Location is very nice and the hotel owner is really nice and helpful. Schonach is a pretty little town in the heart of the Black Forest. The breakfast was good with a good selection. The room we had came with a balcony with a great view.”

“We had a wonderfull weekend in the Hotel Rita. The hotel is situated a little above the centre of the vilage but everything important can be easyly reached on food (5-10 min walk). The surrounding is very quiet and from the balcony you have a great view over the valley. The rooms a big, each with an own balcony and everything is very clean. The hotel owner is very friendly and we felt at home from the beginning. The breakfast is simple but great taste with fresh rolls and a selection of ham, chees sausage etc.. We were even allowed to take some rolles and sausage out for our picknick during the day. All in all it is a small hotel with a very warm atmosphere and a great deal for the money. We would come again.”

“Rita, is so helpful, her English is better than our German, she sorted out lots of English tourist leaflets for us and explained about the guest pass on bus's. We were delighted when Rita dashed out at breakfast time to get some wheat free bread for my wife to eat. We enjoyed the view from the balcony and loved the bird song in the morning & evening.”

“Hotel is a historic inn decorated in the Black Forest style. We enjoyed our private deck. Very nice breakfast room and breakfast served on China.”

“My room was comfortable and it had a wonderful view! I enjoyed the heated floor in the bathroom. Rita was very friendly and helpful and since she spoke to me in German I got to practice my German with her. I used the KONOS card that I was given and it was nice that a bus stop was right outside the hotel. I spent almost four hours at the Clock Museum! I enjoyed seeing the waterfalls too. Most restaurants and stores are closed in Triberg on Mondays.”
