“We didn't want to leave this family run hotel- the air conditioning worked well, the rooms were comfortable and sparkley clean. It is in a beautiful location and the little beaches nearby are wonderful for swimming.”

“Very fine breakfast. The hotel is right in the center (and the harbour) of the small town. It does look rather shabby from the ourside, but inside it is very fine.”

“The Hotel Rio Sul Marina is an old fashioned and charming hotel right on the harbour and in the center of the small town of Rio Marina in Elba. Our group had two standard rooms and one comfort room. The standard rooms were rather small but very clean and there was a fridge in both. These did not have air conditioning, only a fan that was not adequite for the hot July nights when we were there. The comfort room was much bigger and had air conditioning and a fridge. The breakfast table was amazing for cake lovers and lovely to get a fresh ricotta and honey on a banana bread almost straight from the oven. The staff was really warm and helpful, especially Roberta that gave us good info and tips on how to get around by bus, what to see and the beaches in the town and nearby.”

“L'hotel nonostante sia datato è molto pulito. La camera era munita di un comodo frigobar dove si potevano mettere le proprie bevande da rinfrescare. Il condizionatore era molto utile per non far entrare nella stanza le zanzare. L'hotel non è munito di parcheggio proprio, ma a pochissimi passi c'è una strada dove è possibile parcheggiare gratuitamente. Ogni mattina lo chef Felice preparava delle torte diverse, spesse volte accompagnate da salse e creme. E' convenzionato con due ristoranti che fanno effettivamente uno sconto sul conto da pagare. La connessione WiFi era abbastanza veloce. Lo staff è cordiale e molto disponibile. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è adeguato.”
