“The hotel is in Yungay and there is nothing much to do in the town itself, but the town is a convenient ride away from Lake 69 and the Llanganuco lake as well as great mountain trails/treks (1.5 hrs and you are in the mountains compared to Huaraz's 3-4 hrs). If you stay in Yungay you can easily take a combi (public bus) to Laguna 69 and then come back in the afternoon by combi as well (last combi is at 4pm I think). In terms of the hotel....the rooms are basic, clean, with hot water, and working cable TV. The hotel has a huge terrace with hammocks and spot for you to do your laundry. The staff is great, the owners are very friendly and accommodating. The price itself is decent for what you get and I would stay here again if only to hang out in the sunny terrace with the cute dog they have.”

“Las habitaciones son muy cómodas y limpias. El personal es muy amable. Lo que me gusto mucho es que tenga una terraza con hamacas donde puedes descansar viendo la cordillera negra. Muy recomendable si quieres alojarte en una ciudad tranquila y sin tráfico.”
