“We select this hotel for good location because we travelled by car and need to visit Montepulciano, Montalcino, Pienza and other points of Val'dOrcha. Also it was extremely cheap (and breakfast included!). In fact, it's a rather big hotel with a little "outdated" furniture (like in 90th), but a very good bathroom (the water flow was perfect! it's such a pleasure to bath!). Also we have a balcony in the room so evenings we spent there with a bottle of wine, cheese and looking at the stars! The location was good (we bathed in Thermes of San Filippo situated in the forest only 20-minutes by car - amazing experience!) and all the places in Val'd'Orcha were very close too.”

“We loved this family owned hotel, very friendly staff they did not speak English but it was not a problem. We would stay there again. There were restaurants and stores in walking distance and a nice park. Beautiful views also.”

“Amazing value for money!! And soooo friendly! My friend and I absolutely loved it. The decor looks retro in a sort of Wes Anderson film guide of way. A total gem and bargain. A combined total of €25.50 plus €1.60 (80 cents each) hotel tax gave us an ensuite bathroom! Mini fridge! Free on street parking next to the hotel! Freeee buffet breakfast! Free wifi! Air con! Yep all that for a combined total of €27.10 for 2 people And such a super lovely couple including their staff running the place :) It's a great hotel to use as a base if you are exploring the area or even if passing by on your way to exploring different parts of Italy. “The hotel is located near the main road entering Chianciano Terme, a nearby town to Montepulciano. We used this just to sleep so the next day we could go there. The hotel is run by a Russian couple, the woman was always available in case you needed anything, very polite and concerned in offering everything she could. There's an elevator, so it's easy to carry the luggage. The room was very spacious, clean and had a comfortable bed. That was everything we needed for one night. There is one pizzeria nearby to eat, hotels in the main road, but the town seemed a little bit isolated. There is free parking, breakfast is included, which is basic, but that is common in Italy. Overall, good value for money. We made the reservation that same day, places in Montepulciano were all already booked.”
