What guests loved the most
“This a lovely little hotel in the village of Itxassou. Upon arrival in the afternoon and shown to our room it had a lovely view but was facing the west with the sun shining brightly which made the room quite hot - and the air conditioning was not working. We were going to be staying for two nights. The proprietor kindly moved us to another room which was actually larger - thank you. Dinner that evening was very good - the chef is quite creative. The next day we went on a four hour hike on one of the local trails - it was a beautiful day and the views were gorgeous. That evening we ate dinner down the road at Haize Hegoa - it was delicious. Breakfast at the hotel had a lot of variety and was very tasty. The bed was very comfortable. We would love to return some day.”

“Run by a lovely family one of whom is a talented chef and provides imaginative and well presented food. Great outlook across hilly country which is particularly beautiful early in the morning and late in the evening. Secure off-road parking and good swimming pool.”
“Beautiful views. Little terrace and garden outside room so perfect for our dog (he also enjoyed the company of hotel dog). Comfortable room..would be nice to have a kettle. Restaurant excellent....really good choice on the menu, all delicious.”
