“Great location for exploring Rhine Valley. Oberwesel is cute little old town Prefect host, friendly and full of information. Great breakfast, plenty of choices. We had dinner there and was very good! Big clean room.”

“We loved the village, the building was built in the 1500s and the owners have done an excellent job preserving it. The rooms are modern. The hosts are extraordinarily generous, inviting guests to make lunch from the breakfast offerings, which was also very generous. The restaurant Zum Lamm is fantastic, it's like you're having dinner in someone's backyard.”

“Beautiful hotel, which the owner is unsurprisingly proud of, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was beautiful. Books to borrow, games to borrow, maps, the list is endless.We had our evening meal there which was absolutely amazing, one of the best meals of our whole 15 day holiday. Breakfast again was amazing , so much choice , nothing too much trouble, and as a bonus, bags were provided so that you could make yourself a packed lunch for the day. Cannot fault anything at all with the hotel and the hosts.”

“The owner was very friendly and helpful. She spoke English very well and suggested small portions for dinner. The beef dish was so tender and delicious. Breakfast was very generous and paper bags were supplied to fill for lunch. View of the river and fortified town wall - good walk around pretty village. Soundproofed rooms necessary due to rail close by- air conditioning also provided. King size bed was very comfortable and our bikes were stored in locked garage.”

“We were traveling with our daughter and son in law. This was the perfect place for us after touring the castles along the river. The added bonus was air conditioning since the temperatures were extremely hot. Our breakfast was fantastic and very much the European experience. I would highly recommend this hotel.”
