In the months January, February, März and in summer holidays from 15 July 2017 until 15 September 2017 the restaurant is closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays.<br><br>If guests expect to arrive on a Wednesday or Thursday please contact the property in advance to arrange check-in, because the reception is only staffed in the morning.<br><br>Please note that extra beds are only possible in the category "superior". “Family run, friendly establishment. Fantastic location, 5-10 mins walk from train and right by the town square and all the shops and restaurants. Located in a picturesque town. Good continental breakfast. Room had a 3 piece lounge suite, coffee table, TV (German channels apart from BBC World news), mini fridge, desk and chair. hairdryer, soft towels, soap and toiletries, good shower. Very clean. The owners were so kind as arrived 2 hours before check in and they rang to hurry up the cleaners so we could use straight away.”

“The town of Gengenbach is absolutly beautiful and there is a photo waiting to be taken around every corner in the old historic centre. The hotel blends in perfectly with this medival scenery but is modern and quite lovely inside. The young lady on reception spoke very good english and was very helpful, nothing was too much trouble for her to do. The breakfast was very good as was the evening meal. We really enjoyed our one night stay here and this was one of the best hotels that we stayed in out of the total of 11 on the road to Croatia and back.”
“Initially we had several issues with our room (very warm, safely box with no key, fridge not working properly) but the owners responded very quickly and with much grace. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Our room was a good size with a little lounge area (some rooms don't have this extra space). Location is fabulous.”
