“Noelle, the owner is charming and really cares about her customers. The hotel is like nothing I have ever stayed in before. It is huge and seems to be in a state of disrepair. We arrived on a windy Sunday evening and seemed to be the only guests. The old sofas in reception are covered in bed covers. There is unusual artwork everywhere. The restaurant and bar were closed the night we arrived and there was a total sense of desolation. But once you get used to the quirkiness of the place, it starts to grow on you. We were booked in for two nights and initially thought we'd check out after one but stayed and enjoyed ourselves. Breakfast and dinner were excellent when the restaurant opened the following day. We would return. Somehow, you forgive the place it's oddities and this is down to the charming Noelle.”
