“This is the second time I am staying at this hotel. The hotel is located opposite from the central area at the other end of a long bridge. However, it is perfect for the airport transfer (30 minutes, maximum; same side of the bridge), and the center can be reached by walking. The hotel is not big, but very friendly and home-y. The fixtures in the rooms are comfortable, not necessarily new, but clean and in good working order. There are toiletries, and also, importantly, good bedding, TV, and fast internet (Wi-Fi). The breakfast is based on a menu with several basic combinations. Extras can be obtained by paying. There is a basic minibar service as well (water, juices). Based on the friendliness, cleanliness, location and price-quality ratio, it is a very good option for Satu Mare, and one that I am returning to again.”

“I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Residenz. My room was comfortable as was the bed,. I didn't hear anyone else from other rooms maybe because I used the air conditioning as background noise. The wi-fi service was good. I found the breakfast to be more than adequate. The staff was not only friendly but also helpful. The hotel was very close to the train station. Local bus service was also close which would take you to the center of the city.”

“Restaurant was a great plus, both for breakfast and dinner. Staff was uniformly helpful and spoke English. We had a rental car and parked in the hotel lot. Generally easy to get in and out of town to see the area monasteries (the big draw for us).”

“It was only 5 mins walk from Suceava railway station. The receptionist was helpful and friendly. I had a 2nd floor room, no lift. the room was clean and tidy and the wifi worked well. The restaurant was good though short staffed. I would use again”

“The hotel is within walking distance of the main Suceava railway station (not Suceava North) and a good base for a tour of the painted monasteries. The breakfast offers a good selection, although the "hot foods" are barely warm. Staff are helpful and staff on reception and some in the restaurant speak English.”

“We remained totally contented. Everything was perfect. The hotel is situated still me meters from train station. When we needed any information at the receptions we were told everything. It's also easy to arrive to the city center: you need to take a bus that takes you directly there. In the morning we had a free transfer to the airport. And as only one of us needed to take a plane, the driver waited at the airport and then took me to the bus station despite that theoretically the transfer could be available only to the airport. So if the next time we'll need to book a hotel in Suceava surely it would be the same hotel!”
