“Very good stay. We arrived early from train station and they gave us a room straight away for us to nap. They even upgraded us to deluxe room as our room was not ready and we got to stay in the room for the 2 nights. The room is spacious, clean and nicely decorated. There is also very hot water in the shower which is rare in budget hotels in india. The hotel was around 10mins walk to the centre which is nice and the rooms are overlooking the fields. Staff were extremely friendly and always there to help. We rented their scooter for the day which was great. Would definitely recommend to stay here. I wish we could have stayed longer. ”

“I had an awesome stay at Ramayana Hotel. Anjul and his wife were extremely friendly and did everything to make you feel comfortable and welcomed. They organized a pick up from the train station and took a lot of time to sit down and have a chat with their guests and showing a lot of interest. My room was nice and clean and the self-cooked food served on the rooftop terrace was delclicious. They also offer little trips to beautiful destinations like a canyon, waterfalls or wildlife-watching for reasonable prices or help you planning your trip. Anjul made sure that i got the most Out of my stay in Khajuraho. Thank you again for your hospitality, it was fantastic to stay at Ramayana!”

“The place is run by Anjul, a young guy who is trying to make the accommodation for the guests as smooth as possible. The hotel is brand new and has only 6 rooms, so it is lovely, clean and calm place to stay. Location is right between Western and Eastern groups of the Temples and it is about 15-20 minutes walk to any of them. The restaurant is wonderful. I enjoyed every dish they cooked. Also I am thankful to Lavkush, a receptionist, who was very friendly and helped me to spend a day showing the area.”

“The manager is very helpful and wanting to make himself of use in many ways. The Ramayana is a short 10 minute walk out of town and offers a quiet and tranquil budget escape from the noisy streets and irritating sellers, transport touts and shop vendors. A great garden space gives you somewhere cool to rest in the evening. Bed was very comfortable, wifi was strong, good water pressure, very clean rooms.”
