“Quintessential Italian charm and wow what a room with a view. Stunning location - the hotel is on several levels on the cliff face and is part of the Punta Rossa Circeo, San Felice National Park. Our rooms were at the top overlooking the azure seas - magnetically beautiful looking out the the islands of Ponza, whether calm or rough. Steps connect to the restaurant and sun terraces which are scattered throughout beautiful gardens dense with bougainvillaea, azaleas in every hue and architectural aloes, leading down to the sea. There is a pristine salt water pool and then the most fantastic sea swimming we have ever enjoyed accessed via ladders from the rocks. Presided over by the most wonderful bangnino looking like a 1950s matinee idol! The staff are polite and charming and nothing was too much trouble - a big plus when escaping the stresses of London.”
