“Very accommodating staff. Just not the outskirts of the main section of town - so, easy to walk to the center of town. Clean, accommodating and how water for the shower. I'd stay here again.”

“The hotel is about 10-15 mins. walk from the central square, and similar distance to a new shopping mall. WiFi was good. Staff were all pleasant - like the vast majority of all Colombians!”

Vanessa, the manager, went out of her way to arrange any activities we wanted and was available to answer any concerns. Our accommodates were very nice and the bed was so comfortable. The hotel is located about 6 blocks from the city square, so easy to walk to. We would definitely stay at Puerto Bahia again!!!!”

“Decent hotel in a good location, about nine blocks away from the main plaza. The staff were really friendly. Most of them only spoke Spanish, but we found a way to communicate. Vanessa was a gem; really friendly, helpful and spoke perfect English. The hotel can arrange activities for you and they have a very good laundry service.”

“The hotel is a two minute walk from the beautiful Parque Gallineral. However, it is a couple blocks to the main square and a lot of the more lively restaurants - in other words, it's in a pretty quiet part of town. The service was absolutely excellent - they helped me set up excursions to do trekking (activities like ziplining, rappelling, and caving) as well as for parapente (paragliding). They advised me on places to visit (like Barichara) and were incredibly patient and helpful with my less-than-perfect Spanish (note: if you speak no Spanish at all, you may have some difficulty here). One staff member even searched for and found my lost personal items in the hotel trash for me when I discovered at 5 AM that I had thrown away the wrong plastic bag. Breakfast, while not free, was definitely delicious and filling. The pool, while small, was pleasant to hang out at on a hot afternoon as well. All in all, I had a wonderful stay in San Gil and this hotel played a huge role in that.”

“Nice area not too far from the main plaza. Convinient adventure tourism office on the second floor. Conviniently close to the park "El Gallineral" Great breakfast. Pretty safe at nigth.”
