“The beds were very comfortable,perhaps the best I've slept in in Greece. The shower 🚿 was excellent I'd be happy if I had to have the same at home. The breakfast not the best I've ever had but more than adequate, nice with yoghurt plenty of tea ☕ and coffee,toast,fruit juice, fried eggs and other bits and pieces. Most importantly the staff their friendliness and helpfulness from reception,the bar 🍸the restaurant and the person who looked after the room. Our whole party found the hotel so relaxing and friendly we all enjoyed our stay.A big thank you to the staff.”

“Loutro was an absolute delight. No cars - it was like stepping back in time. We left our hire car in Hora Skafion for 2 nights and got the 10.30 ferry for 10 euro each return. Arriving by boat was the best. Amazing walks both ways out of the village. The hotel was the best in the town I think. The staff were brilliant and the accommodation and breakfast and views were excellent. Wish I had stayed longer. Will get a bus from Chania next time. We walked the Imbros gorge and that was gorgeous!”
“Amazing breakfast - greek yogurt w/ fresh fruit. Loved the location as a base camp for hiking and swimming in Crete's aqua-marine sea. Owners/managers are lovely...easy going and attentive (and our kids loved Harry and Fever - the hotel's dogs.)”
