“The hotel looked like a quaint old property but inside furnishings and bathroom fittings were allnew. Hotel restaurant was open non-stop from 12 noon so we could dine "British time". It was lovely to have a drink and eat on the hotel terrace in the square along with lots of local people.”
“We had a power cut in the morning so a little challenging negotiating the room and breakfast. Staff managed well with candles. Booking.com had let us know the power outage was happening but no communication from staff.”

“Right on the beautiful Plaza Grande with its fabulous brick arches. Friendly, helpful staff. Parking in the plaza. Good food in the evening including the special local jamon. Good local wine and also local cheese from Caceres. Corner room with windows overlooking the square.”
“Good breakfast and choices, food available from hotel was very good and was served outside of hotel in plaza if you wished and a great range of tapas. Our room was first floor over the front but double glazing prevented any noise , but it all was in keeping with a lovely old building. We had promised ourselves a return visit and so stayed two days this time.”
