“We were so relaxed here. The train being so close was not a bother at all. We slept with the French doors open and had no mosquitoes or noise. The town is so peaceful and safe. The trees and garden area off our # 3 room on the second floor was lovely. We also loved the breakfasts and the dinners were tops! The staff was so helpful and friendly and the restaurant felt like your aunt Francesca's own kitchen. We miss it so much. The rooms were comfy and the one we had was spacious for the 3 adults in our party. What a pleasant reasonably priced and family oriented and run hotel. Thanks!!”

“Gracious old building and garden that had the misfortune to have the new railway line built on its boundary. Close to sea, nice beach, not just rocks. A real haven from the crowds of the 5 villages. We requested a room with air conditioning which are on second floor up a lot of steps. Staff very helpful and friendly. Limited dinner menu but nicely done.”
“Good size bed in single room plus air con. Shady eating area in garden. Home cooked food in the evening though the menu choice is limited. Convenient for beach supermarket and station. Much quieter than the cinque terre. Walks through the tunnels. Good Wi-Fi even outside.”
