The staff from the reception, breakfast, bar, restaurant and maid service could not have been more friendly or efficient. “This newly renovated hotel is rammed jammed full of antiques and curios. Each room is fascinating. Very clean, quality bedding and modern bathroom facilities. The staff are very attentive....not to mention patient. Our allocated room was overlooking the inner courtyard where meals are served; we were staying for two nights and I wanted a room with a view. The receptionist gave me the card keys to another few rooms so that I could choose which one I wanted! I chose a room overlooking the square to the front. Amazing service. She was so patient with me, especially when I then went and locked myself out of the room I had chosen! We ate in the restaurant on one night - very good quality food. Breakfast on the first morning was superb.....but a little less so on our second (and last) morning....but this may have had something to do with the previous day's fiesta!”
