“The proprietor Max Schlumpf, has owned and operated this property for 35 years. He was onsite it seemed 24 hours per day. Meeting him was a real pleasure and he went out of his way to make sure our stay was great. He gave us personal tour advice on how best to enjoy our stay in the Schaffhausen area, and we followed it making the stay magical.”

“Wonderful quaint place. Classic decor to fit the historical nature of the hotel. We had a nice room on the third floor and was spacious. We ate dinner at the restaurant and was very pleased. Breakfast was served rather than a buffet style which was a nice change. The food was well prepared and very good. If we ever go back to Schaffhausen we would definitely stay here again.”
