“Very good location at the best part of the beach of Tyros. Only five minutes walk to another beautiful beach. We had a room with a view of the bay. Rooms basic but very good value for money - vintage style, i like these classic beach Hotels with the air of the 70s, staircase and floor and all. Very helpful staff, try the traditional breakfast.”

“We had decided to spend Easter in Tyros upon the recommendation of some very helpful people that live there. It really is the most exceptional place to observe the Easter celebrations in Greece. Hotel Paraskevas is located at the other end of the 2km bay to where all the festivities take place so in terms of being in a quieter location this was perfect. It is close to some great restaurants and our room offered good views over the beach which is so close we could hear the waves lapping upon the shore which is very relaxing! We had the option of paying 5 euro's each for breakfast which we did one day and was brought to our room on a tray so that we could eat it on the balcony which was brilliant. The breakfast was fantastic! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has so much potential but definitely needs a bit more investment in upgrading the rooms.”

“easy to find- just follow the beach road to northern end. don't disregard this one because it has only one star; it has all the mod cons as listed, and the TV a wide range of channels (none English). the fridge is a full size one, not a mini, and the balcony was larger than in many hotels. I was more comfortable here than in the 4 star in Patra. yes, the furniture is ancient, but does that matter when you are on holiday and it serves its purpose? the bed was comfortable. the hotel overlooks the shingle beach; what is it worth to go to sleep and to wake up to the sound of the waves on the shingle? and that is virtually all that you will hear as there is very little traffic through the village. just along the road are supermarkets, restaurants and chemists all plural! not much English at reception, but a warm welcome. I liked the hotel's simple feel, and the village was an haven of peace away from the tourist traps. I would happily stay here again despite the shower.”
