What guests loved the most
“The staff were fantastic and very patient with our attempts to communicate with English, broken Portuguese and sign language. The manager was fantastic and very welcoming. The trails behind the lodge were excellent for birding and exploring the forest. The food was average to good (buffet style). The location is very central: about 60km (1.5 hours) from Porto Jofre and less than 60km from lodges on the Pocone side. The staff were really helpful and set us up with boat trips at other lodges and out of Porto Jofre. They also accommodated us after another booking fell through. One day there was a Jaguar found along the river near the lodge and they spontaneously got all of the visitors into their boats and down the river to see the big cat. It was an amazing experience and shows how flexible and helpful the staff were (no extra cost).”
“Great location next to the river, included in the price is a boat trip which the driver whistled the 'giant otter' which appeared next to out boat & was rewarded with fish - amazing Great Horned Owl in hotel gardens at night”

“O hotel fica em ponto estratégico da transpantaneira, após a última ponte de concreto. Como o local é remoto, recomendo levar lanches extras e bebidas (principalmente água) pois é cobrado à parte.”

“Schönes Hotel direkt am Fluss gelegen.Der Außenbereich mit Hängematten und dem etwas grösseren Pool läd nach erlebnisreichen Touren zum Verweilen ein. Wir hatten einen Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Die Zimmer sind etwas klein aber vollkommen ausreichend und sauber. Wie uns mitgeteilt wurde ist pro Nacht ein Ausflug dabei aber wohl nur ein Bootsausflug. Freundliches nettes Personal was leider kein Wort Englisch spricht. Für ein Hotel in dieser Lage sehr gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis. ”
