“The best bit for us was the fact that they had a nice restaurant there - Laura's - on the first floor with a really nice maitre 'd called Luca - who gave us a delicious pre-starter and picked out a lovely wine for us - and then gave us a marvellous pudding wine not unlike dry sherry. The food was really good and we greatly enjoyed eating there. The bedroom was big which was good, and the bed large and comfortable, but the coverlets slid down and it became cold at times, I also wasn't keen on a jacuzzi-type bath - because that sort of thing you can't really keep fresh and you associate it more with your own home - or a gym. Nevertheless, it was a comfortable set-up and restful for travellers. The parking arrangements are very sound and secure, but somewhat complicated.”

“Staff was very helpful and went the extra mile to make sure our family was comfortable. Location was excellent - lots to see and do within walking distance. Breakfast (included) was very tasty and had decent variety. Rooms were quiet and dark, which make sleeping pleasant.”

“Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, wir hatten Gottseidank einen Parkplatz gebucht - der war direkt vor dem Hotel und somit ziemlich komfortabel. Worüber ich mich besonders gefreut habe, war eine kleine Überraschung zu meinem Geburtstag. Die Lage ist sehr zentral in Asti gelegen, sämtliche Geschäfte und Lokale liegen in Gehweite. Es ist zwar kein funkelnagelneues Design-Hotel, aber alles in allem kann ich das "Palio" auf jeden Fall empfehlen!”
