“Junior suite room facing the canal was stunning, beautiful decor and the view was magnificent. The staff were excellent and very helpful and the hotel was spotlessly clean. The hotel is next to to the Alilaguna (airport transfer) and ACTV (water bus) stop so very easy for transfers and getting around.”
“If you like to explore the less touristy side of a city, but still want restaurants and shops within easy walking distance, the Palazzo Stern is perfect. There is a vaporetto stop right outside the hotel for easy access to main attractions, but once inside the hotel property, it feels secluded and private. The decor reflects the city, and is charming. Our bedroom was adequately sized and overlooked a garden at the back of the hotel. Fixtures and fittings were of good quality, and included a coffee machine. Breakfast is buffet-style, offering eggs and bacon over and above the traditional hams, cheese and pastries. One can eat on a lovely terrace if the weather permits. The staff are knowledgeable and happy to assist with tourist queries. When booking, I thought the hotel was expensive, but it was worth the money”
