“We loved the view from our room on the seventh floor - the morning mist, the brilliant colors of fall slowly appearing as the sun graced us with its presence. I loved the fact that we could walk to the tourist center where we selected an excursion to nearby places for three days in a row. The kind woman who served us espresso in the Bar de Zi was very pleasant. She might teach the others how to behave toward hotel guests! Before the ugliness described below, we discovered the treat of the week. The driver on our excursions was excellent; the views were unbelievably beautiful; as well, the secrets we might never have discovered on our own were made available to us to our delight. These treats far outweighed the malevolence on display on the last evening of our stay. That and the colors blazing in the clear light of day.”
