“The staff gave us so many recommendations for food, transportation, and the best ways to schedule our days to see the castles and palaces. The rooms were quiet and cozy. We were able to buy bottles of wine and bring them to our room. There's excellent views of the castle from the gorgeous terrace of the hotel. Drinking your morning coffee under the gaze of a castle is pretty amazing! Everyone was so gracious and kind at this hotel.”
“Everything ! Amazing staff and management. Great breakfast, excellent location. Left my favorite cap on a hop-on-off tour bus, called hotel staff (Mr Louis) who help to contact bus operator / drivers to locate, within minutes tour bus driver confirmed found the cap (also a big thumb up to the driver and operator), send the cap to station, Louis personally went to pick up. When back to hotel in evening, the cap was on table in our room. Salute to the service quality of Nova Sintra hotel. They treat guest as part of family.”

“The attention to detail of the 2 fellows that ran the place was top notch. Breakfast was very comprehensive - right down to prunes, pancakes and poached eggs. I had rented 2 rooms. One room was on the ground floor and the second room was on the top floor - I was given the choice to have both rooms on the ground floor - which I gratefully accepted. The patio is large - you can find your own private space. The fellows were very helpful in planning our day trip. Parking was very tricky in the area, but the fellows managed to solve the problem by parking the car for us. Only stayed 2 nights - wish I could've spent longer.”
