“Comfortable single room with more than enough space for one. Clean linen, comfy bed. Bathroom very nice. plugs all in the right place. Had a dinner in Le Cottage which was nice, if not a bit on the pricey side. Very convenient to all Vernon has to offer, especially Seine, main square, Saturday market and walking tour of the town. Good base to overnight if you are doing Giverny.”

“This was our second visit and we still think this is a great place to stay in Vernon. The rooms are clean and large by French standards and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves tasty and reasonable priced meals and drinks. The location is good for getting to the railway station and getting the shuttle to Giverny or taking the train to Paris.”

“Hotel Normandy was wonderful -- first of all A+ for the front desk staff - the young woman who checked me out this morning, September 20th - noticed right away I was charged for two people and fixed my bill. Room was super clean and they let me in while the maid was still cleaning so I could drop my bag and work. Nice fluffy towels, great bathroom and shower. I had an issue at first with the wifi but then they just let me work in the room by reception with the big comfy chairs. The guy on the front desk in the evening and the woman who checked me in, all super nice. Nice little work station in the room. Breakfast was great and I highly recommend dinner in their restaurant. Also nice staff and I had a wonderful steak dinner, with really outstanding mushroom soup, desert, soda -- 28 euros! I was so happy with everything I wanted to review them right away. Really great value.”

“The room was very comfortable. They have a nice courtyard where you can have a drink (and food when they are serving I imagine). The staff were very helpful and it in easy walking distance to the station (where the Giverny shuttle bus and petit train start (try the road train if you are going to Giverny - it is good fun!). The hotel is also very near the town and plenty of eating places.”
“We booked the family room (2 bedrooms in in one room), even though it we were only 2 people instead of 4, because it was the only room available. SO HAPPY WE DID because it was our 1st hotel after a 20+ hour flight/travel day with jet lag. It was so nice to each have your own room as we adapted to the 10 hour time change/jet lag. The rooms and beds are exactly as pictured - Clean, nice decor and very comfortable. Has a lift / elevator.”
