“This hotel is a hidden gem amongst so many hotels you can choose from in Tokyo. It has been renovated to a boutique hotel with a Japanese flavor and "Omotenashi (hospitality)" - very clean, comfortable and extremely helpful staff. The restaurants are reviewed highly (both the Japanese restaurant for dinner and the grill restaurant for breakfast) and indeed they are excellent.”
“This in new hotel designed in Japanese style and located in excellent neighbourhood. There are lot of small eateries and you can taste all the food in Japan. Hotel has really good service in all levels. There are free massage chairs in the 3-rd floor. Our room was small in American standards but for Europeans it is ok. Pack light and you are ok. The Imperial grounds are in walking distance from the hotel and there are 3 metro lines in 5-minute walk plus big attraction park above shopping mall if you travel with kids. Hotel is easy reach from Haneda or Narita airports and you can find rout description in hotel website.”
“The environment is elegant, the room is neat, the service is very good, the subway walking is not too close, there is a supermarket next to it, and there are many restaurants nearby.”
“Really enjoyable stay in a room larger than others experienced in Japan. Lovely traditional feel in what is a contemporary design concept.”
“We choose Hotel Niwa for our 4 night stay in Tokyo as it was incredible value for money and we were not disappointed. It's well located for sightseeing with 2 metro lines within a short walking distance and simple eateries close by. The staff were very helpful in translating our reservation emails and hailing taxi's for us. Room was very quiet and clean with coffee/tea facilities.”
“Great hotel - small but adequate rooms (standard for Tokyo), polite and helpful staff, clean and well-appointed, and access to the hotel is very easy - walking distance from Akihabara or even closer to local JR stations.”
“It's cozy...like coming home to a warm cocoon each day. And every tiny detail added up. ”
“Located in the university area of Tokyo. Neighbourhood friendly and cosy. Hotel is well designed and smart. Two excellent restaurants. Close to metro station and major shops and restaurants. Rooms are beautifully designed in japanease style.”
“The location is very nice. Near to three subway stations. And it’s a very safe area, very quiet.”
“Everything about this hotel! The location is perfect, 5 min from the nearest subway station, and tucked away in a semi business area, very quiet. The room was also quite spacious. There’s even a gym and laundry onsite.”
