“This friendly family run hotel is in a great location and has on-site parking. We enjoyed exploring Carcassonne on foot. Hotel Montsegur is easy walking distance from all the main attractions and all the usual shopping, food and entertainment spots. Bike hire is another good option to see the canal and castle if you are in a hurry. A lovely quaint older hotel, we really enjoyed our stay.”
“Beautiful house, very friendly owners. Terrace to have pre-dinner drinks”
“Located in town, directly from toll road with on-site parking. Charming hotel with friendly proprietors. Excellent breakfasts. They recommended an interesting restaurant in walking distance: Au Table Du Robert, wood-fired grill. Excellent dinner was a three hour experience.”
“Great breakfast. Cot put in room for child at minimum charge.”
“We travelled with the car full of luggage, the parking place in the courtyard of the hotel was very convenient. The hotel is closed to the city center and approx 25 minutes walking to the medioeval Carcassonne. Quite hotel.”
“Staff were so helpful and attentive. Recommended a local restaurant for dinner which was sensational. We didn't book breakfast, but we turned up. We were greeted with smiles and were told it was not a problem. Have no reservations about recommending this hotel.”
“The lady at reception went above and beyond to accommodate our needs e.g. laundry and fridge/freezer! Charming property. Comfortable bed.”
“The building itself is amazing and the old furniture is gorgeous. Staff was very helpful and friendly!”
“We enjoyed everything about our stay, it was a wonderful experience. The room had everything we needed for both ourselves and our two teenage daughters. Family suite excellent. Breakfast was very good with a great variety and everything you could want. The hosts were amazing and couldn't do enough for us, friendly, warm and welcoming. Onsite parking was great and it was an easy walk into to both the new and old cities.”
“The breakfast croissants, bread etc were superb. The management were extremely pleasant and helpful. We appreciated the general quirkiness of such a traditional property and considered it good value for money.”
