It is no longer possible to purchase tickets on site. And online were already sold out when we attempted to buy them, some 15 days in advance. They reserve tickets for hotels and travel agencies, which are not available to the general public, making it similar to a "mafia". And a ticket tax must be paid.”

“The staff were extra helpful in arranging Alhambra tickets for us. Maybe we did not check the hotel out before booking, but the hotel does not have a lift, and being senior citizens, carrying our bags up 3 flights of stairs was a chore. Also the room was very compact, though very modern and comfortable. Excellent location for going to Alhambra but a bit of a walk from the cathedral bus stand to the hotel.”
