“The welcome, the view from the room, the old world charm and ambience. Dinner at the hotel was excellent and better value than Barry's opposite. Room was a little small but facilities all sparkly clean and worked well. Shower cubicle not enormous but shower really efficient and hey, we didn't want to have a party in it! Lovely little balcony with table and chairs and fantastic views. Bed turned down every evening. Great buffet breakfast included. Convenient to have tea an coffee making facilities and a fridge to cool the complimentary mineral water. Breakfast in the room at no extra charge if you want. It's clear that the owners go out of their way to make sure your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.”
“Location was great but the hotel itself was old, small and dirty. There are other options close by for half the price and better conditions. But if you want directly in front of the lake then there isnt much else to choose from. Cernobbio is a charming city and worth the trip. Set your expectations low on the accommodations but this is somewhat standard in all of Italy.”
