“very beautiful place in the center of the port and we were enjoying a beautiful view that I had asked for. WE could be part of a lively scene and at the same time the windows would close so well, that we had a quiet and moreover a tastefully furnished room, too. Very happy about the stay at this place and we would get all the informations and help we needed. A place to come back to!”

“Host was gracious and so happy to share her love of the island. Gorgeous. Room was very comfortable and great air con. We were at the back of the building which had lovely view of the veggie garden. Its right near the port so easy when arriving by ferry. Loved amorgos and cant wait to tell my friends about this magical island.”

“Great location on the quay. Enjoyed watching the ferries coming and going. Very nice patisserie and coffee shop on the ground floor and two good tavernas directly outside but not at all noisy in the evening or at night though we had a front facing room. Boat to the beaches directly opposite - 4€ return run hourly. Staff couldn't do enough for us and room was spotlessly clean. Photo is taken from our balcony (room 9)”

“Very welcoming, warm, kind hosts who gave us lots of information about the island. Wonderful breakfasts with organic and creative foods. Sitting outside for breakfast in the shade looking at the boats in the sunshine and hearing the waves gently lapping was very therapeutic! Room full of character.”

“Fantastic hosts that do everything they can to make your stay more comfortable and enjoyable. Breakfast consists of homemade pies and jams and fresh fruit from the garden. An oasis of flowers and herbs, the jasmine scent will accompany you to your room. Front rooms are noisy but offer a view of the sea and the village, I had a room at the back with a mountain view which was also nice and quiet.”

“Lovely helpful host, she was always ready to help and give good advice, breakfast is excellent ,we had a big room with big balcony facing the harbour,( see photo) we enjoyed sitting at the balcony watching the activity , so much live and fun , yet so peaceful.One night a group of musicians came walking from the ferry playing greek music , children came running formed a circle and started dancing ,this was just outside Hotel Minoa (see photo) Unforgettable ! I liked this hotel, the staff, location and everything so much that i can´t wait to go back there again and again. Thank you Hotel Minoa”
