“Superb, huge room with a very comfy bed and excellent views from the balcony - the combination of trains and mountains was perfect for us! Very friendly, helpful staff. Very quiet despite proximity to station and shops. Room had a quiet cooling fan (not A/C). Good restaurant. Location brilliant - two mins walk to station, tourist office and bus station for excursions to Interlaken, Lucern, Lake Brienz and at least 4 mountain passes. Next door to post office, bank facilities and a children's play area. 20 mins walk to Aare Gorge and Reichenbach Falls - or 5 mins by rail.”
