- Zermatt is car-free. Access for private cars is only possible as far as Täsch (about 3.7 miles from Zermatt). The road between Täsch and Zermatt is closed to private transport. From Täsch, there is a shuttle train service, the Matterhorn-Gotthard-Bahn, every 20 minutes.<br><br>Please note that the hotel offers free transfers from and to the train station, the taxi stand or the Zermatt Heliport from 08:00 to 19:00. Guests are kindly requested to inform the property in advance of their estimated time of arrival if they wish to make use of this service.<br><br>If you are travelling with children, please inform the property in advance of the number of children arriving and their age. Contact details are stated in the booking confirmation.<br><br>Please also note that the property consists of 3 buildings, which are internally connected to each other.<br><br>When booking 8 rooms or more, different policies and additional supplements will apply.

“Location is great, the view on the Matterhorn is amazing. The hotel has a quircky design and lies on the edge of the centre of town, but everything is walking distance. Cable car into the mountains next door. They have a free shuttle service to the station which is very handy. Our room was wonderful, comfortable beds and nice seating area and a terrace with the great view as well. The breakfast is very tasty and plentiful, lots of choices on offer. They also have free afternoon snacks, tea and coffee, very nice when you come back from a walk or skiing trip. And finally, the gorgeous wellness area, with indoor-outdoor pool, sauna, steam room and other facilities and relaxation area, all beautifully designed. Staff is very friendly and organized.”
