“This a cosy and comfortable hotel in an excellent location. Rooms are clean but dated and may be small compared to non-European countries. But everything worked well and the staff are friendly, helpful and courteous. Hassle free base from which to explore Paris.”

“I was happy to find the bedroom to be pretty big, but i was surprised with how HUGE the bathroom was. I enjoyed the bath tub very much. The hotel was 5 minutes' walk from Gare de Lyon, and another 5 minutes' walk to Promenade Plantee. There were so many cafes around that offered breakfasts. WiFi was strong. I only stayed for 1 night after arriving at Gare de Lyon, and the hotel was good.”

“Location is across the road from the train station, (Lyon), it is comfortable,quiet, safe and secure, and the receptionists are very helpful. We did not have breakfast but there is a take away coffee,/baguette shop opposite, also many restaurants and pavement cafe in walking distance .Wifi good as was the price for Paris.All you could want really.”

“Within walking distance of Gare de Lyon and metro and plenty of restaurants nearby. Good location for travelling into Paris No frills hotel, cost reflects facilities. Adequate breakfast with a choice of cold foods French and Continental choice and tea, coffee, fruit juice. Hotel clean and reception staff friendly and helpful. Facility to leave luggage after check out which meant we could enjoy our last day and return to collect before flying home. Short break (3 nights) with 16 year old daughter as a 'treat' at the end of her GCSE's with the intention of sight seeing in Paris. On a budget. We achieved this and the hotel met our needs. It is on a busy side road but the traffic noise did not disturb us, other more sensitive guests may find the noise too much. The breakfast was included in the room rate, it was sufficient for our needs.”
