“An excellent Hotel, situated in a wooded valley some 1.7km from Schriesheim. Rooms were well furnished, clean and comfortable. Being a family run Hotel,the staff were very pleasent and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was plentiful and of a good standard. Overall,a very enjoyable stay and well recommended. There is a dedicated footpath behind this Hotel, and it takes about 20 minutes to walk downhill to the centre of Schriesheim. Driving there takes only a few minutes, and there is a big free carpark in the town. From Schriesheim you can get a tram (number 5) direct to Heidelberg, or in the opposite direction, to Weinheim and Mannheim. There are English language ticket machines on all tram platforms, and the cost of a single journey is two euros.”
