“EVERYTHING apart from the quality of breakfast which was a little basic and if you wanted a boiled egg there was an extra charge! Evening dinner by comparison was excellent quality and great value for money. Staff efficient and friendly. Cosy bar. Helpful and pleasant evening security who doubled as bar staff.”

“Pratical hotel near Carciano port (right in front of Isola Bella) but old-fashioned and needing some renovation (average age of the clients the weekend we stayed: 60 years old). Breakfast OK but nothing remarkable, wifi working, helpful staff, balcony in the room. There is a public swimming pool next to the hotel and as it is partner with the Astoria hotel (4*, more in Stresa city center but also okd-fashioned), you can access their pool. If you want to go out, you better choose a hotel near Stresa port, for us we were there for the Islands so it was perfect. Be just careful when looking at the boats schedules, you need to come back to Carciano and not Stresa port!”
“Attentive waiting staff , friendly receptionists. Good breakfast- lots of it. Nice meal in evening, with good staff. Good location with lovely walk along promenade to get to town . Lots of places to eat in town. Room was fine with large balcony -views of garden & lake . Air conditioning worked well.”
