“Traditional decorated rooms with comfortable beds and minibar. All the staff are very friendly, happy and helpful. The hotel also has a fabulous restaurant serving first class meals at reasonable prices. Although we used public transport and legs it is advisable to use a car especially if you intend to visit other places as the buses are, at best, hourly. It is close to the local skiing area and we walked to it. There is a train replacement bus service twice daily from Roccaraso to Sulmona from where you can trains to Rome and Pescara though the first of these is at 06:35!”
