“We accidentally arrived later than we anticipated, so the hotel owners weren't there but they made sure that we received an extremely warm welcome from the sommelier. It was later in the evening on a Saturday night and we were the only guests (off season), but the sommelier and the chef stayed late to make sure we had everything we needed. They were wonderful and treated us like family. Fantastic staff!! Beautiful location and building, too.”

“We stayed here because it was close to family, but what a bonus it was to find ourselves in one of the most beautiful and wonderfully run hotels we've ever been in. The manager and staff were incredibly friendly and professional. The public spaces and rooms are beautifully appointed. We had the perfect setup with a separate but connecting room with our teenage children. The mountain village setting is magic. The food was superb local produce - and if you are tempted to over indulge - there is a very well equipped gym on the top floor with magnificent mountain views. On a three week trip through Europe, it was our favorite place to stay. I can thoroughly recommend this place. It is very special.”
