“Felt authentic. Location and decor were wonderful...old school palace. Just off lagoon. Easy/safe 3 block walk from St. Marks but far enough away to not feel touristy. On a lovely quiet courtyard which had a cafe and a restaurant. Felt very safe as a female traveling alone. Even though one has to ring doorbell to access, someone was always there even when I came back very late from my conference.”
“The location is perfect: half way between the Arsenale and St Marks Square, and quiet because it's set back from the Riva degli Schiavoni - as well as being hidden from the waterfront by a single cale (passageway).”
“The staff was nice and there was a nice little square outside.”
“Good location. Reasonable price. Nice old building.”
“The location of the hotel is great, close to all the attractions, yet in a peacefull area away from tourist crowds allowing us great sleep at night. Also very easy to reach once you get off from the vaporetti. The interior design of the lobby/dining room place is just gorgeous, really speaks history itself! We loved breakfasting in it.”
“Beautiful palace. Small but clean and comfortable room. Great location. Friendly and helpful staff, who happily provided gluten free breakfast options. I'd certainly stay here again - perfect for the Biennale venues.”
“Quite location and convenient to San Marco Square.”
“The staff at the reception is always so friendly, welcoming and helpful. love the location for being a bit off the beaten track and very close to most of the Biennale venues.”
“convenient location, beautiful palazzo furnishings. My room was on the reception floor, which was convenient.”
“Overlooks a beautiful and quiet square, the rooms are much larger than what we expected, and are lovely with painted wood beams.”
