“The hotel is right on a main canal and near a public water bus stop and looks very inviting with indoor and outdoor dining facilities. The staff were friendly and very helpful. They responded quickly in advance of my arrival to e-mailed questions about the bathroom and how to get to the hotel. The room was small but all I needed, and the bed was firm, the way I like it, and comfortable. There was a nice window overlooking a small terrace below and a canal. The room has an efficient heater/air conditioner that works well. The breakfast was very good with ample selections, including fresh scrambled eggs, sausage, and bacon, and other cold items. I was pleased that the Peggy Guggenheim Collection was in easy walking distance. There is also another water bus stop on another canal just a short walk away.”
