“The hotel is very nice. It is small and everything is kept simple, but in a nice a cool way. We definitely can recommend the breakfast with a lot of different hams and the sheep milk yoghurt. Enjoy that cool place with just 10min away from the Cabarceno zoo.”
“The property was located in a beautiful country setting and was easily located. The room was superb with fabulous decor, an amazing shower unit and very comfortable beds. The soundproofing in the room against the noise from the road which ran directly below our room window was excellent. The breakfast at the hotel was simply the best with wonderful fresh food and lovely service. We could not have asked for more. We were presented with a beautiful cake as we left which was simply amazing.”

“Incredible stay here. Very clean, modern and lovely decor. Immediately upon my arrival I was greeted by a warm welcome. Lovely check in and then went to my room and wow. Incredibly spacious room with a nice view. Comfy beds and great shower and facilities. Very sturdy and sound proof room. Excellent wifi. Restaurant on site wasn't open during my stay but a very short run down the road to the owners other restaurant (Las Piscinas) and had a fantastic meal. Back to an amazing sleep, so good I slept in and almost missed breakfast but the host and owner still fully accommodating even though I ran slightly over the time. Best service I have ever received at a hotel. The owner and staff couldn't do more to ensure my stay was perfect. A big thank you.”
“We had a great stay at Hotel La Alfonsina. I can only say good things about this little cosy hotel in the mountains. The staff is very friendly and kind. The room was comfortable and clean with all the facilities you need. The breakfast is amazing with good quality fresh products, I specially remember the various types of smoked ham. I would strongly recommend you to stay here, you'll be very close to Santander and Santillana Del Mar but in the middle of the mountain where you can go for a hike (there are maps for the hikes).”

El desayuno es muy rico y todo de muy buena calidad. Y a destacar la atencion de Ana a nuestra llegada y de Alfonso, el dueño, que nos ayudaron a organizar nuestra ruta para ver los alrededores.
