“The hotel name is L'orologio (in Italian) which means watches in English. Every room has a name of a watch that might have been previously owned or made to a well-known person. The name might be the name of a watch itself. I believe the watches are now owned by the hotel owner. My room's name was egitto faruk (The Egyptian Farouk). Maybe King Farouk of Egypt? One room was named "The King of Saudi Arabia", while another room was named "Nero". When I asked the reception staff they were not able to give exact information about the history of those watches or where the names came from. The hotel is very luxurious, very clean, and very elegant. The breakfast bar is on the rooftop and you will enjoy the view while taking your superb breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel restaurant is another peace of art and the food cost is very reasonable compared to other restaurants in the area. The hotel is a bit expensive but you will enjoy your stay. Two minutes walk from the main train station. Ten minutes walk from all attractions.”
