“Staff was extremely friendly. Booked 1-bed room by mistake. Hotel allowed upgrade to family room (and even offered a small rebate). Free parking available down the road. Tram stop 1 block away makes it easy and cheap to visit the whole Belgian coast.”
“Kathi was most welcoming when we checked in, offering advice on parking and recommendations of restaurants where we could enjoy an evening meal. Our room was very clean and the bed afforded us an excellent night's sleep. Breakfast in the morning was fresh and there was a good selection of cold items, as well as cooked eggs done to your choice. Notices said that bedrooms were to undergo a refurb in the winter, but ours was already smarter than many hotels we have stayed in. The proximity to a long sandy beach meant we were able to enjoy a fabulous walk after a number of hours in the car, and then we had just an hour to drive in the morning back to Calais, making the hotel's position great for a stopover. It's lovely to support a young family (Kathi, Jonas and their son), rather than a large, anonymous chain; it ensures personal service and warmth. Thank you.”

“Sehr zuvorkommendee und freundliche Art der Hotelinhaber.sehr gutes Frühstück, bei dem Sonderwünsche auch erfüllt werden. klein,aber fein und die Zimmer schön und modern eingerichtet. Abends ruhig und trotz der Tram direkt vor der Haustür empfand ich es nicht zu laut. Haltestelle ziemlich direkt vor dem Haus und keine 5 min bis zum Meer.kostenlose Parkplätze in den Seitenstraßen oder an den Dünen (ca. 10 min entfernt ) reichlich vorhanden. Zudem ksnn zum Be- und Entladen direkt neben Hotel gehalten werden!!!! Direkt gegenüber vom Hotel eine extrem gute Frittenbude zu günstigen Preisen.”

“chambre ok, pour ma part, j'aime mieux un lit double, mais enfin j'ai peut être réservé trop tard. déjeuner toujours excellent. troisième fois que je venais dans cet établissement, deux fois dormir, et deux fois manger, cette fois ci, nous n'avons pu souper leurs délicieux repas fait de tapas, ils ont arrêté vu la charge de travail, mais on ne sait jamais en s'y mettant à plusieurs ....”
