“WE were in the annex to the main hotel. We had to check in across the street. This is a very old hotel with extra large rooms and a balcony. It is very quiet. There are excellent paintings showing the hotel before the advent of the automobile! The breakfast was very good with a wide selection for an old hotel. The bed was very comfortable and the furniture was worth a photograph. Dinner is available in the main hotel which itself faces on the main street of the old town. The modern hotels are across the river which is only a short walk away.”

“Hotel Kolbergarten was a previous privately owned house therefore had lots of character, large rooms, high ceilings, interesting features. Our bed was exceptionally comfortable, room also had, table, chairs, large wardrobe, sofa. Breakfast had lots of choices to accomodate everyone. Also, the tables were set with some good homely touches.”
